1. Some news
Time for some news before we move from 19 to 20:
The autumn was relatively quiet for me, with a Germany tour for Waxband (quite something!) and some modest gigs with my other projects in France.
I am now taking advantage of the peaceful winter to stay home and prepare upcoming projects (in the comfort of my little cosy flat in the Anjou countryside).
A few new projects are in the making and will be ready in the spring, mainly:
An experimental duo under the provisional name of “Electro Ber et Govski” with Pierre-Alexis Lavergne and his electric guitar, keyboards and pop/rock arrangements…,
The recording of the “Waxband Project” album (I am currently trying to secure funding),
And the 5th annual Klezmer Rendez-Vous in Normandy.
By the way, registration for the Klezmer Rendez-Vous workshops (music, song and dance) is now open!

2. Doï Klezmorim
I am also delighted to announce the birth of “Doï Klezmorim”, my duo with my long-standing colleague Mihai Trestian, the cimbalom virtuoso. Here’s our beautiful poster – an etching made by Chloé Mayoux:
